For as long as I can remember, I've been a creative at heart.
When I was younger, I would draw cards for my family and friends, but especially my grandparents - a simple thank you for spending time with me or taking the time to teach me something.
Later in life, my grandma gave me an envelope she had kept over the years--an envelope that survived moves to new states and decades of being shuffled around in memory boxes. On the back of several cards, I had drawn my own logo - "from the heart cards."
I was branding before I knew what branding was.
What began as an expression of gratitude as a child eventually morphed into a career.
...and I still draw cards for the people I love.
Speaking of the people I love, I have a ridiculously supportive family, a loving wife (Fancy Face), and 2 rescue dogs who we honestly believe are going to wake up one day and start talking to us.
My wife and I spent several years living tiny, traveling the country in our Airstream with our pups. Although we now call the desert home, we still love hopping in the Airstream when the mountains or the ocean call. Sometimes, getting lost is the best way to find yourself.
